If your computer is set to WITS in General Settings or the SEND GAS option is selected, you must have the computer plugged into an EDR. Otherwise you will experience extremely slow computer performance. If you are trying to bench test your unit in the shop or calibrate gas when Geospect is not connected to an EDR, simply turn OFF all WITS communication settings.
